Get To Know Our Church
First Baptist Church of Horseshoe Bend in Weatherford, TX, is a Southern Baptist church family that has worshiped, served, and grown together since 1979. We began as a small mission meeting in a ranch house and, by God's grace, became a full church with paid-in-full buildings, a welcoming sanctuary, and active ministries. Early support from neighboring congregations, volunteer-built facilities, and repeated note-burning services tell a story of steady faithfulness. Today, river baptisms, children's programs, and a caring food pantry show that God is still working among us.
